Paulo Dybala undergoes surgery

Paulo Dybala after successful surgery at Villa Stuart in Rome

A.S Roma forward Paulo Dybala, who has been out injured for the last several weeks, was finally on the road to recovery when in his initial return back to training felt another strain in his knee forcing him to leave the pitch.

It was then determined that the Argentine should undergo microscopic surgery at Villa Stuart to find what has been plaguing his return to action. Unfortunately, there was found to be a partial tear of the MCL and succession surgery was completed.

Professor Mariani on Sky Sport in Italy spoke about a “complete longitudinal tear of the outer meniscus” and according to Filippo Biafora is expected to recover in 5 weeks.

As time ticks down on the end of the season hopefully the World Cup winner will be able to appear perhaps for the final time as a Roma player as his contract expires at the end of June.
