Mexican defender Israel Reyes is currently in Rome and the rumours are starting to circulate about him joining the Giallorossi in the summer.
Reyes is a 25 year old defender for Club America for Mexico, and is expected to be a part his countries World Cup campaign this summer. It’s reported he is looking to capitalize on this exposure and get a big transfer to Europe.
According to Edar Ramirez, the defender can play in many different positions including centre back, right back, and even defensive midfielder. He also states that there’s competing interest from the Netherlands.
However, sources in Rome may tell another story. Checco Casano from ReteSport denies that Roma have scheduled a meeting with him and that he’s just vacationing in Italy’s capital.
