Today Roma play in a crucial game at the Stadio Olimpico against Fiorentina that they must win in order to keep their Champions League dreams alive. For Fiorentina’s part they’re looking to secure more points to maintain their survival in Serie A
Roma can count on some major additions back into the fold as manager Gian Piero Gasperini confirmed at yesterdays press conference that not only is Paulo Dybala back, but Manu Kone will take his place in the middle of the park. The only debate in the starting XI for Roma is if Dybala is fit enough from the first minute to complete a trident with Matias Soule and Donyell Malen.
Fiorentina will be without Moise Kean, as he’s away on personal leave, so it’s expected Paolo Vanoli will start a trident of Harrison, Solomon, and Gudmundsson.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio the starting teams are as follows:
ROME (3-4-2-1) : Svilar; Mancini, Ndicka, Hermoso; Celik, Cristante, Koné, Wesley; Soulé, Dybala; Malen. Coach : Gian Piero Gasperini.
FIORENTINA (4-3-3) : De Gea; Dodò, Pongracic, Ranieri, Gosens; Ndour, Fagioli, Mandragora; Harrison, Gudmundsson, Solomon. Coach : Paolo Vanoli.
