Inter still interested in Kone for summer transfer

According to Nicolò Schira, Inter Milan are continuing to monitor Manu Koné closely ahead of the summer transfer window.

An Inter scout is expected to be present at the Stadio Tardini for Roma’s upcoming match against Parma in order to watch the midfielder in action once again. The Nerazzurri have reportedly maintained a long-standing interest in Koné, who is viewed internally as an ideal profile for Cristian Chivu’s midfield.

Inter’s admiration for the Frenchman is not new with the club having already explored a move in previous transfer windows, and coming close to landing him last summer if not for fan intervention.

Despite the growing interest, Roma are not expected to entertain offers easily. The Giallorossi consider Koné a central figure in the club’s long-term project and would likely demand a significant fee to even begin negotiations. It’s reported a figure around 45 million euros is where Roma would start to entertain a sale.
