The announcement was made by Serie A CEO Luigi De Siervo as the league enters its decisive final weeks, with several major objectives — including Champions League qualification — still hanging in the balance.
Roma and Lazio remain directly involved in the race for European places, adding even greater significance to one of Italian football’s fiercest rivalries.
Alongside the derby, other matches scheduled for the same time slot include Juventus-Fiorentina, Genoa-Milan, Como-Parma, and Pisa-Napoli as Serie A continues its synchronized scheduling approach for clubs competing for similar objectives late in the season.
