From England: Wesley attracting interest from huge clubs

According to reports from CaughtOffside in England, Wesley França is attracting growing interest from several top European clubs following an impressive debut season with AS Roma.

Manchester City, Barcelona, Newcastle, Real Madrid, Arsenal and Tottenham are all said to be very interested in Wesley.

Premier League giants are reportedly monitoring the Brazilian closely, with clubs in England viewing Wesley as one of the most promising young wing-backs currently playing in Serie A. His athleticism, versatility, and rapid development under Gian Piero Gasperini have significantly increased his market value over the past year.

Roma, however, have no intention of letting the 22-year-old leave cheaply. The club has reportedly set a valuation of around €40 million, reflecting both Wesley’s importance to the project and the growing financial power of clubs interested in signing him. Following this summers World Cup that figure could rise significantly.

After arriving from Flamengo last summer for an initial fee of around €30 million, Wesley quickly established himself as a key figure in Roma’s system, contributing strong performances on both sides of the pitch while also earning attention at international level with Brazil.

Among Roma supporters, many believe the club should resist offers unless an extraordinary bid arrives, viewing Wesley as one of the cornerstones of the team’s future.
