According to Matteo De Santis, Roma remain actively searching for a new sporting director, and one of the names on the club’s shortlist is Matteo Tognozzi.
However, the Giallorossi are not the only club interested in the Italian executive. Juventus are also reportedly evaluating potential changes within their management structure, and Tognozzi’s name has emerged internally as a possible option — which would represent a return to Turin for the former Juventus scout and executive.
Roma continue to assess several profiles for the role as the Friedkin ownership works alongside Gian Piero Gasperini to build the club’s long-term sporting structure ahead of a crucial summer transfer window.
