Roma are reportedly keeping a close eye on Dan Ndoye ahead of the summer transfer window as Gian Piero Gasperini looks to strengthen the squad’s attacking options. According to reports in Italy, the Swiss international is one of the profiles being monitored by the Giallorossi after an underwhelming season with Nottingham Forest.
Ndoye struggled to replicate the form he showed at Bologna, finishing the Premier League campaign with just two goals and two assists. Despite that, Roma remain interested due to his versatility, pace, and ability to play on either wing — characteristics highly valued in Gasperini’s system.
However, a deal would be extremely complicated financially. Nottingham Forest are reportedly unwilling to consider a loan move and would only entertain a permanent transfer worth around €42 million. The English club originally signed Ndoye for approximately €45 million including bonuses and still view him as a major asset.
Roma are not alone in the race. Inter and Napoli are also monitoring the Swiss winger’s situation, while recent reports suggest Ndoye has already been proposed to several Serie A clubs.
The move could ultimately depend on Roma’s qualification for the Champions League, as the club continues balancing Gasperini’s transfer requests with UEFA financial restrictions ahead of a crucial summer rebuild.
