Michele Sbravati will not be joining AS Roma. The Juventus youth sector director has decided to reject the Giallorossi club’s offer and has instead chosen to continue his career at Atalanta.
Roma had identified Sbravati as a key profile to take charge of the club’s youth system as part of a wider restructuring project of the academy and sporting structure.
However, despite interest and contact between the parties the negotiation did not progress.
The decision represents a setback for Roma, who will now need to evaluate alternative candidates for the role.
