Roma are reportedly monitoring FC Porto winger Pepê as Gian Piero Gasperini continues shaping the club’s attacking plans ahead of the summer transfer window.
According to reports from Te La do io Tokyo the Brazilian attacker is one of the profiles being evaluated by the Giallorossi as they look to add more pace, creativity, and versatility to the squad.
Pepê, born in 1997, is appreciated for his ability to play on either wing as well as in more advanced attacking roles. The player also holds an Italian passport, a factor that could simplify registration and squad-list considerations for Roma.
At the moment, the Porto winger is considered more of a market opportunity than an advanced negotiation. Roma are continuing to evaluate several attacking targets simultaneously, including Joshua Zirkzee, Dan Ndoye, Antonio Nusa, and Julian Brandt, as Gasperini pushes for a more dynamic frontline.
Much of Roma’s summer strategy will depend on Champions League qualification and UEFA financial restrictions, with the club potentially needing at least one major sale before making significant investments in the transfer marke
