Roma Reignite Interest in Yuri Alberto

Roma have reportedly revived their interest in Corinthians striker Yuri Alberto as Gian Piero Gasperini continues evaluating attacking reinforcements for next season.

According to reports from ESPN Brazil, the forward has once again emerged as a concrete target for the Giallorossi after already being linked with the club in previous transfer windows.

Yuri Alberto is highly appreciated for his mobility, pressing intensity, and ability to attack space — qualities considered ideal for Gasperini’s tactical system. The 24-year-old has continued to impress in Brazil with Corinthians and remains one of the most productive forwards in the Brasileirão. Community discussion around Roma’s previous interest described him as “a very good player” and one of Corinthians’ most important figures.

Roma are expected to strengthen multiple attacking positions this summer as the club prepares for a major rebuild under Gasperini and the Friedkin ownership. The Giallorossi continue monitoring several profiles simultaneously, including Joshua Zirkzee, Crysencio Summerville, Antonio Nusa, and Pepê.

Any potential negotiation for Yuri Alberto would likely be complicated financially. Corinthians reportedly consider the striker untouchable unless a major offer arrives, especially given his importance to the squad and his strong relationship with the supporters.
