AS Roma are continuing to push strongly for Tony D’Amico to become the club’s new sporting director ahead of a crucial summer rebuild under Gian Piero Gasperini.
According to the latest report from Nicolo Schira, Roma have offered D’Amico a contract running until 2028, with an option to extend the agreement through 2029.
The Atalanta executive remains one of the Friedkin ownership’s top priorities due to his strong relationship with Gasperini following their successful years together in Bergamo. Roma view D’Amico as an ideal figure to help build the next phase of the club’s sporting project.
However, competition remains strong, with AC Milan also monitoring the situation closely as uncertainty continues surrounding their own management structure.
