AS Roma are set to celebrate their history in style with the unveiling of the club’s new 2026–27 kits, a collection deeply inspired by tradition ahead of the Giallorossi’s upcoming centenary celebrations.
The launch of the new home shirt is expected to coincide with the annual July 22 celebrations, according to Il Romanista, when Roma supporters traditionally march through the streets of the historic city center. The timing reflects the club’s renewed emphasis on identity and heritage, a direction already signaled by the return of the classic crest in official communications.
At the center of the new designs is the iconic Lupetto-inspired emblem featuring the she-wolf and the “ASR” monogram, replacing the logo that has been used since 2013. The return to one of the club’s most beloved symbols marks another strong connection to Roma’s roots as the countdown toward the 100-year anniversary continues.
The new Home kit will maintain Roma’s traditional deep red colors, enhanced by darker shadow-like detailing along the sides. Adidas’ signature three stripes will appear prominently on the shoulders in a slightly wider style than usual, further distinguishing the design. The same historic crest will also feature on the bronze-toned Third kit — inspired by the armor of ancient Rome — as well as the gray training collection with yellow and red accents.
Particular attention has also been given to the Away shirt, which is expected to go on sale beginning August 6 through official Roma and Adidas stores. The cream-white design pays tribute to vintage football aesthetics, highlighted by a bold horizontal chest band in Roma’s classic yellow and red colors. Matching details appear on the sleeves, collar, and Adidas stripes, creating a look heavily inspired by football shirts from decades past.
The Away kit is part of Adidas’ “Originals” collection, reserved for retro-inspired designs featuring the classic trefoil logo placed centrally on the chest. The shirt draws inspiration from several historic Roma kits worn from the Campo Testaccio era through the post-war years, while also recalling more recent designs from the 1994–95 and 2009–10 seasons.
For many supporters, the collection represents more than just a change of kit design. It is a tribute to the club’s identity, history, and cultural roots — a bridge between Roma’s past and future as the capital club prepares to enter its centenary year.
