Moise Kean remains one of the names being monitored by AS Roma for the summer transfer market. Much will depend on the outcome of the final league matchday and on whether AS Roma qualifies for next season’s UEFA Champions League under coach Gian Piero Gasperini. The Roma manager is said to be a big admirer of the striker born in 2000, according to calciomercato.it.
In an attempt to lower ACF Fiorentina’s asking price — the club values the player at around €45 million — Roma are reportedly considering including Artem Dovbyk in the deal. The idea would be to offer around €20 million plus the rights to the Ukrainian forward, whose salary is considered high by Fiorentina’s wage standards.
The report says Roma would only be able to make a concrete move for Kean if they finish in the top four. The club’s plan would be to build a high-level attack by pairing the Italian striker with Donyell Malen, who would be signed permanently from Aston Villa F.C. for €25 million.
