AS Roma are moving decisively to sign Dodô, the right-back from ACF Fiorentina. The Giallorossi club is putting strong pressure on the 27-year-old player, and negotiations are progressing well. Contacts between the two clubs suggest the deal could be completed for a fee between €15 million and €20 million.
The Brazilian’s contract expires in June 2027, and Fiorentina believe this is the ideal moment to sell him and avoid losing him on a free transfer next season.
Dodô is coming off an excellent campaign, with two goals and three assists in 47 appearances, and he is a specific request from Gian Piero Gasperini.
Roma already have the Brazilian Wesley França in the squad, but the coach has successfully moved him to the left flank, opening up space for the arrival of the Viola player.
A small indication that a move to Roma was in the works when he liked a post on instagram of a giallorossi player.
