Roma are still elated from achieving its third place finish and the club held an event for all the players and employees.
Manager Gian Piero Gasperini addressed the group.
“You’ve fixed everything a bit. The club is very happy, we’re very happy. The future is beautiful . It’s difficult, but it’s exciting. We’re going to play at an even higher level and it will be even more wonderful to compete. Happy holidays everyone. Thank you for everything, really, thank you for everything. You were extraordinary .”
Speaking to the club’s employees:
“We who all live nearby never have the chance to meet, to get to know each other, to see each other, especially you who work behind these guys’ backs and are here every day. Your work, everything you do, is incredibly important to trying to keep the team, the guys, happy, and we wanted to thank you for that. It was a chance to say goodbye and tell each other that we’re all one beautiful family.”
