Champions League qualification has reshaped plans at AS Roma, with Gian Piero Gasperini now given stronger assurances about his role and more control over the transfer market.
According to Il Messaggero, Gasperini is also set to see changes within his coaching setup after some internal disagreements this season.
One key move involves the medical department: Riccardo Del Vescovo is expected to arrive from Bergamo to replace Petrucci as head of medical staff. This would also mark a return to Trigoria, as Del Vescovo previously worked at Roma from 2012 to 2019.
Gasperini could also be reunited with fitness coach Alessandro Pilati, who previously worked at Genoa and is considered a trusted collaborator.
There may also be changes in recruitment, with Michele Fratini—who has already worked at Trigoria—still a candidate to return in the scouting department.
Finally, the club still needs to decide who will lead the youth sector. The main candidates are linked to Frosinone Calcio, Hellas Verona, and ACF Fiorentina.
