The construction of the new Roma is moving forward through technical and managerial decisions, while the issue involving Francesco Totti continues to dominate discussion.
After a period in which his return to the club seemed increasingly likely, talks between the parties slowed down, mainly following the initial proposal that would have given him a largely ceremonial role connected to the club’s Centenary celebrations. In recent hours, however, new developments have reportedly emerged.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Gian Piero Gasperini has expressed to the ownership his desire to bring the former captain back into the Giallorossi organization in a more substantial and influential role within the club’s operations.
The idea would be to move beyond the concept of a purely representative figure and instead identify a position that would allow Totti to participate more directly in the development and growth of the sporting project
