Inter Milan are reportedly unwilling to spend the €45–50 million required to sign midfielder Manu Koné, with the club exploring alternative solutions to lower the cost of any potential deal.
According to Checco Casano, the Nerazzurri’s preferred option would involve including Davide Frattesi as part of the negotiations, effectively using the Italian midfielder as partial compensation. While such an arrangement could be structured as separate transactions, it remains the only scenario currently under consideration by Inter.
Meanwhile, Frattesi’s future at the club appears increasingly uncertain. Sources suggest that the Rome-born player is eager to leave in search of a new challenge and more consistent playing opportunities.
With Inter reluctant to meet Koné’s asking price outright and Frattesi seemingly set on an exit, the coming weeks could prove decisive in determining whether a deal can be reached.
