Rensch may ask to leave Roma for more playing time

Devyne Rensch’s situation at Roma is being evaluated ahead of the upcoming transfer window, and a possible departure is not being ruled out.

The Dutch full-back joined the Giallorossi with the expectation of gradually carving out space in the squad, but so far he has struggled to establish himself as a guaranteed starter. For this reason, both the player and the club are considering solutions that would allow him to gain more continuity on the pitch.

According to Corriere dello Sport Roma’s management is not opposed to the idea of a loan or even a permanent transfer, provided that the conditions are right and the move makes sense for all parties involved.

The priority remains the player’s development, and a temporary exit could be the most effective way for him to gain experience and minutes.

Several clubs, both in Italy and abroad, are reportedly monitoring the situation. Interest is expected to increase as the transfer window approaches, especially from teams looking for a versatile defender capable of playing on both flanks.

For now, no final decision has been made. The situation will be assessed in the coming weeks together with the coaching staff, who will also evaluate Roma’s tactical needs before approving any departure.
