AS Roma defender Wesley was named in Brazil’s starting lineup and featured at right-back as the Seleção cruised to a commanding 6-2 victory over Panama. The 22-year-old was trusted from the opening whistle and delivered another solid performance on the international stage, showcasing his pace, energy, and attacking intent down the flank.
Brazil dominated the match from start to finish, scoring six goals in an emphatic display of attacking football. Panama managed to find the net twice, but they were unable to keep pace with Brazil’s quality and intensity.
For Wesley, the match provided another valuable opportunity to gain experience with the national team and strengthen his position ahead of future international fixtures.
He was replaced at half-time by former Roma defender Roger Ibanez.
