Borussia Dortmund have held preliminary discussions regarding a potential move for Roma winger Matías Soulé, according to transfer journalist Ekrem Konur.
The Argentine talent remains highly regarded within the Roma hierarchy and is not officially listed for sale. However, the club does not consider the 22-year-old untouchable and could be open to evaluating significant offers should formal interest materialize during the summer transfer window.
Dortmund are among several clubs monitoring Soulé’s situation following his first season in the Italian capital. The Bundesliga side are understood to have explored the conditions of a possible deal as they assess options to strengthen their attacking department ahead of the new campaign.
Interest in Soulé is not limited to Germany. Premier League clubs Aston Villa and Brighton have also made enquiries about the Argentine, reflecting the growing attention he has attracted across Europe.
