Dodô is becoming one of the hottest names of the upcoming summer transfer window. The Brazilian right-back of Fiorentina has been offered to both Roma and Napoli, who are looking to strengthen their wide areas ahead of next season. According to SportItalia his future appears increasingly likely to be away from Florence, especially because negotiations over a contract extension have stalled.
The defender’s current contract runs until June 2027, but talks over a renewal have not produced any concrete progress. As a result, Fiorentina may be willing to sell him this summer rather than risk seeing his value decline as his contract approaches expiration.
Fiorentina are reportedly valuing Dodô at around €15 million, a lower figure than what they would have demanded a year ago, when the club was seeking more than €20 million.
