Former Roma Winger Justin Kluivert Linked with Juventus Move

Few former Roma players have experienced a career turnaround quite like Justin Kluivert. Once regarded as one of Europe’s brightest young talents, the Dutch winger arrived in the capital in 2018 amid high expectations. Roma invested €17 million to secure the son of Dutch legend Patrick Kluivert, hoping he would become a cornerstone of the club’s future.

However, Kluivert’s time in the Eternal City never unfolded as planned. Despite flashes of brilliance and undeniable pace, consistency proved elusive. Across two seasons in the Giallorossi shirt, he managed nine goals and ten assists but struggled to establish himself as a regular starter or decisive figure. As Roma entered a new era, Kluivert eventually moved on in search of opportunities elsewhere.

Several years later, the story looks very different.

After spells away from Serie A, Kluivert has rediscovered his best football at Bournemouth under Andoni Iraola. The 26-year-old has developed into one of the Premier League club’s most important attacking players, combining creativity, direct running, and improved finishing. His resurgence has not gone unnoticed, earning him a place back in the Netherlands national team setup and attracting interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs.

According to reports in Italy, Juventus are among the clubs closely monitoring the Dutch international as they seek to strengthen their attack this summer. The Bianconeri are expected to be active in the transfer market following a season in which goals were difficult to come by, and Kluivert has emerged as a serious option alongside other high-profile targets.

For Roma supporters, a potential move to Turin would be a reminder of what might have been. Kluivert arrived in Rome with enormous promise but departed before fully realizing his potential. Now, after rebuilding his career abroad, he could be on the verge of returning to Serie A as a far more complete player.

Should the transfer materialize, Roma fans would have another familiar face to watch in Italian football—this time wearing one of their fiercest rivals’ colors.
