Pre-Season: Roma hoping for a prestigious friendly vs Barca, and Brighton game while in Wales

With Roma’s return to the Champions League they’re also looking to add more prestige to the club in pre-season.

They’ll already be facing Borussia Dortmund on August 15th and are hoping to finalize being the Gamper trophy team that faces Barcelona and take on Brighton in the UK.

The meeting with the Catalan giants would represent a high-profile test for Roma, both in terms of competitive intensity and technical quality. Barcelona, known for their possession-based style and emphasis on tactical control, will provide a demanding benchmark for the Giallorossi as they fine-tune their approach ahead of the new season.

According to Corriere della Sera, during their training camp in Wales, Roma are also working on organizing a friendly against Brighton. Another high-level match that would allow the Giallorossi to experience a very intense and modern style of football.
