According to Fabrizio Romano, Roma are actively working on a new contract for defender Gianluca Mancini, with his renewal currently considered a top priority alongside that of Paulo Dybala.
While Inter Milan are reported to admire the defender, Roma remain confident about securing his future at the club. The final steps of the renewal process are expected to take place following the arrival of the club’s new sporting director, Tony D’Amico.
Mancini, who serves as Roma’s vice-captain, is highly regarded by head coach Gian Piero Gasperini, who reportedly views him as one of the team’s key leaders. The Italian defender is therefore expected to remain an important figure in Roma’s plans moving forward.
