Nottingham Forest could make an improved bid for Jan Ziolkowski in the coming hours as negotiations continue over the Polish defender’s future.
According to Checco Casano, the player’s representatives are working to bridge the gap between the Roma’s valuation—reported to be between €20 million and €25 million—and Nottingham Forest’s initial approach of around €15 million, including bonuses. Casano notes that interest from the Premier League side was first reported on May 30.
There is growing optimism that the parties could eventually reach a compromise, with a deal potentially being struck somewhere between the current asking price and Nottingham Forest’s opening offer.
Talks remain ongoing, with Ziolkowski’s agents actively involved in efforts to move negotiations forward.
