Rudi Garcia , the former Roma coach , gave an interview to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The current Belgium coach also spoke about Mile Svilar , dismissing the possibility of the Giallorossi goalkeeper playing for the Red Devils:
“No. The matter is closed. Nothing can be done because he made his debut for Serbia. I even spoke to him.”
For Rudi Garcia, reaching the Champions League should be the norm for Roma:
“I think it was right to celebrate, anyway. That feeling had been missing for a long time. Roma’s rightful place should always be in the Champions League.”
The Belgium coach is disappointed not to see Italy at the World Cup: “As an almost-regular Italian, I’m very disappointed. It’s not the same to play such an important tournament without you. I hope this disappointment helps us get things right. Considering the work they did in France, I think it’s time to start from the ground up, developing young talent.”
