As reported by Corriere della Sera, Roma have just twenty-five days to address the contract situations of three key players whose deals are nearing expiration. Among them, captain Lorenzo Pellegrini appears the most likely to remain at the club. Despite interest from abroad, the number 7 has repeatedly expressed his desire to stay in the capital and finish his career in the Giallorossi shirt.
After a season that marked a clear improvement on the previous campaign, Pellegrini is now awaiting official confirmation from incoming sporting director Tony D’Amico before putting pen to paper on a contract extension.
Under Gian Piero Gasperini, the club’s objective is to build a strong foundation through these strategic renewals while working to overcome the financial hurdles that continue to complicate negotiations with Paulo Dybala and Zeki Çelik—two players regarded as central to the coach’s plans for Roma’s future.
