Roma remain keen on signing Crysencio Summerville, although the club continues to assess concerns over the Dutch winger’s recent fitness record.
According to TEAMtalk, Milan have now stepped up their interest in the former Leeds United star. The Rossoneri have already made concrete moves for the 2001-born attacker, who is viewed as a potential replacement for Rafael Leão should the Portuguese forward leave the club this summer.
West Ham are reportedly valuing Summerville at around £35 million (€40 million), a figure that has not deterred his growing list of suitors. Napoli are also closely monitoring the situation and consider the Dutch international an ideal addition to strengthen their attacking options.
As a result, a transfer battle appears to be taking shape, with Roma facing increasingly fierce competition. Summerville is admired by the Giallorossi and could potentially reunite with Donyell Malen at the Stadio Olimpico after the pair recently featured together for the Netherlands.
Interest is not limited to Serie A, however. Premier League clubs including Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa are also keeping tabs on the winger, further complicating Roma’s pursuit and potentially driving up his market value in the weeks ahead.
