Dovbyk is not in Gaperini’s plans as teams gather interest

Artem Dovbyk’s future at Roma appears increasingly uncertain as the club continues to shape its squad for the upcoming season under Gian Piero Gasperini.

According to Nicolo Schira, the Ukrainian striker is not considered a key part of Gasperini’s plans moving forward and could be on his way out of the Italian capital during the summer transfer window.

Interest in Dovbyk is already beginning to emerge from abroad. Two foreign clubs have made initial enquiries regarding the forward’s availability, with Roma open to evaluating potential offers should the right opportunity arise.

The 27-year-old arrived in Rome with high expectations, but the club is now assessing its attacking options as it looks to build a squad better suited to Gasperini’s tactical vision. As a result, Dovbyk could become one of the notable departures of the summer.

While no formal negotiations have been reported at this stage, interest in the striker is expected to grow in the coming weeks as clubs across Europe monitor his situation closely.
