Artem Dovbyk is likely to leave Rome this summer. For Roma, however, it will not be easy to sell a player who cost around €40 million two years ago without recording a capital loss.
According to journalist Nicolò Schira, the former Girona FC striker is not part of Gian Piero Gasperini’s plans and is expected to continue his career elsewhere.
Two foreign clubs have already made inquiries about Dovbyk, who recorded 3 goals and 2 assists in just 627 minutes of playing time last season.
Furthermore, according to Matteo Moretto on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, Dovbyk is attracting interest from clubs that will compete in next season’s Champions League. As a result, the former Girona forward could end up facing Roma in Europe’s premier club competition next year.
