Robinio Vaz’s future could lie at Bologna. Roma are considering sending the young French striker out on loan to ensure he receives regular playing time, particularly if Bologna lose Santiago Castro this summer.
Although discussions are still at an early stage, the move highlights how Roma’s transfer strategy extends beyond the club’s headline names. The proposal is already concrete and is expected to be presented soon to Bologna’s new head coach, Domenico Tedesco.
Vaz joined Roma from Marseille last January in a deal worth around €22 million and has shown encouraging signs during his first few months with the Giallorossi. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Bologna closely monitored the striker during the Europa League double-header as well as in the Serie A meeting at the Stadio Olimpico, and were impressed by what they saw.
At Trigoria, there is a growing belief that Vaz’s development depends on consistent playing time. As a result, the possibility of a loan move is gaining momentum, with Roma viewing it as the ideal opportunity for the French forward to gain valuable Serie A experience, greater responsibility, and regular minutes on the pitch.
