According to Corriere dello Sport, Evan Ndicka remains one of Roma’s most highly valued assets and could become the source of a significant capital gain should the club decide to cash in on the defender.
The Ivorian centre-back, currently on international duty at the Club World Cup, is attracting interest from Bournemouth, where former Roma sporting director Tiago Pinto is looking to strengthen the club’s defensive department.
Pinto is reportedly exploring the Serie A market for reinforcements and has identified Ndicka as one of his primary targets. Bologna defender Jhon Lucumí is also being monitored, but the Roma centre-back is said to be the preferred option.
Any potential deal, however, would require careful consideration of the financial package involved, particularly regarding the player’s salary. Ndicka arrived in the capital on a free transfer and has since established himself as one of the most reliable defenders in Serie A, making him both a key player on the pitch and a highly valuable asset from a financial perspective.
For now, Roma have shown no indication that they are actively looking to part ways with the 25-year-old, but interest from the Premier League continues to grow as the summer transfer window progresses.
