According to Corriere dello Sport, Roma’s early-June operations are moving at a slower pace than expected, with the overall tempo of planning considered below the standards required by Gian Piero Gasperini.
The coach is reportedly demanding a transfer strategy aligned with Champions League ambitions, as well as greater clarity regarding Financial Fair Play constraints. As a result, he has begun applying direct pressure on the club’s senior management to accelerate decision-making.
The concerns, however, extend beyond the transfer market. There is still no official confirmation of the summer training camp dates, no fully defined pre-season friendly schedule, and limited progress on contract renewal talks for several players whose futures remain unresolved.
The overall situation highlights a broader lack of operational clarity at this stage of the summer, something Gasperini is keen to see addressed quickly as Roma prepare for a crucial new season.
