Roma are continuing their efforts to strengthen Gian Piero Gasperini’s squad, with reinforcements on the flanks remaining a key priority ahead of the new season.
One of the names most heavily linked with the Giallorossi in recent weeks has been Fiorentina full-back Dodò. The Brazilian is regarded as one of the most attractive options on the market and could leave Florence this summer due to his contract expiring in 2027.
However, Roma face strong competition from Napoli. According to Corriere dello Sport, the possibility of Dodò moving to the capital has cooled in recent days, with the defender reportedly favouring a switch to the reigning Serie A champions.
While Roma continue to monitor several options for the wing-back positions, Napoli currently appear to be in pole position should Fiorentina decide to part ways with the Brazilian.
