Soulé Agent is at Trigoria. Winger Most Likely Sold for FFP

According to Il Tempo, Matías Soulé is currently the most likely Roma player to leave in the upcoming transfer window.

Signed from Juventus two years ago for a fee just under €30 million, the Argentine winger is now valued by Roma at roughly €10 million more than that figure. A potential sale at this level would provide the Giallorossi with significant resources to help finance incoming transfers this summer.

Soulé has already attracted interest in recent transfer windows, particularly from clubs in England and Germany, where his profile remains highly appreciated. A concrete offer between now and the end of the month is not ruled out.

Roma have not yet made a final decision on his future, but internally his departure is considered more manageable compared to other potential sales. Even Gian Piero Gasperini is reportedly open to the idea, should it be necessary to unlock priority reinforcements in attack.

Meanwhile, according to Francesco Balzani of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Te la do io Tokyo), Soulé’s agent, Martín Ariel Guastadisegno, has been in Trigoria to discuss the player’s future, with the Argentine now firmly among the names considered expendable in order to generate funds.

As Il Messaggero reports, Aston Villa are among the clubs to have shown initial interest in Soulé, although their approach is still at an exploratory stage. Borussia Dortmund are also said to have gathered information, but have yet to make any formal move.

Update: Eleonora Trotta on her Youtube has stated that there has been problems between Gasperini and Soulé this season. There were frustrations on Gasperini’s side in relation to Soulé’s injury problems and how it was managed.
