According to Checco Casano, Nottingham Forest’s ongoing managerial uncertainty has temporarily slowed negotiations for Jan Ziolkowski.
The situation has been further complicated by uncertainty surrounding Matteo Tognozzi, who is reportedly attracting interest from Juventus despite an offer from Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis. These developments have created a degree of instability behind the scenes, delaying progress on the deal.
Despite the slowdown, Ziolkowski’s representatives continue to push for the move, with the Polish defender’s camp keen to see the transfer completed. At this stage, the operation remains alive, but further clarity within Nottingham Forest’s sporting structure may be needed before talks can accelerate again.
