According to Radio Mana Sport Roma, Mile Svilar has reportedly turned down a move to Tottenham Hotspur, rejecting a highly lucrative offer worth around €60 million that would have taken him to the Premier League and Champions League football.
The sensational transfer backstory claims that the Belgian-born, Serbia international goalkeeper remains fully committed to Roma and the Giallorossi project.
Despite Tottenham’s willingness to submit a major bid for his transfer, Svilar is said to have made it clear he does not want to leave.
His decision is reportedly driven by a strong connection with the club and the city, as well as his ambition to compete in the Champions League as Roma’s first-choice goalkeeper.
