Roma are looking to strengthen their left flank, with Matteo Ruggeri emerging as the Giallorossi’s primary target.
The 2002-born full-back, who previously worked under Gian Piero Gasperini at Atalanta, joined Atlético Madrid last summer. It has been a solid season for the Italian defender, but a departure from Spain this summer is still possible.
Roma, along with Fiorentina and Juventus, are closely monitoring his situation and could decide to make a move depending on developments in the coming weeks.
According to journalist Francesco Guerrieri, Atlético Madrid value Ruggeri at around €20 million. However, the Spanish club are keen to secure a replacement before sanctioning any potential sale.
