Manu Koné Puts Transfer Talk on Hold: “We’ll Decide After the World Cup” Amid Arsenal Interest

Manu Koné has moved to cool speculation surrounding his future at Roma and reported interest from Inter Milan, Arsenal and PSG making it clear that his full focus is currently on international duty with France at the World Cup.

Speaking about his situation, the midfielder stressed that he does not want to be distracted by transfer rumours at this stage of the season.

“At this moment I’m only thinking about the World Cup. It’s my first major international competition, a tournament I’ve always dreamed of playing in. I want to stay focused exclusively on this.”

Koné underlined that any discussions regarding his club future will be postponed until after the tournament concludes.

“We’ll talk about the future after the World Cup and see what happens.”

The French midfielder’s comments come amid growing attention from top European clubs monitoring his situation. However, Koné’s message is clear: his priority right now is performing on the international stage and helping France progress as far as possible in the competition.

According to Fabrizio Romano, no decisions regarding the player’s future will be made during the tournament, with all parties expected to reassess the situation once the World Cup is over.

For Roma, Koné remains an important part of their plans, but interest from abroad is expected to continue if his performances on the global stage impress.
