Tommaso Baldanzi’s future appears to be settled, with the young attacker set to continue his journey at Genoa following a successful loan spell during the second half of last season.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Roma and Genoa have reached a final agreement after completing the exchange of documents in recent hours. The deal has been structured as a loan with an obligation to buy, with the overall value of the operation reaching €9.5 million.
Baldanzi joined Roma from Empoli amid high expectations, but struggled to establish himself as a regular starter in the capital. His time at Genoa, however, allowed him to regain confidence and consistent playing time, convincing the Rossoblù to make a decisive move for his permanent stay.
For Roma, the transfer represents an important piece of business as the club continues to manage its squad and financial objectives. In addition to reducing the size of the roster, the deal generates valuable revenue that can be reinvested in future transfer market operations.
With the agreement now completed, Baldanzi is expected to continue his development at Genoa, where he will look to build on the positive momentum gained during his previous spell with the club.
