AC Milan continue their search for a new sporting director as the club shapes its project for the upcoming season under new head coach Ruben Amorim.
After talks with Eintracht Frankfurt executive Markus Krösche reportedly stalled, the Rossoneri began exploring alternative candidates for the role.
Among the names considered was former Roma sporting director Tiago Pinto, who has been leading Bournemouth’s sporting project since leaving the Giallorossi.
According to Sky Sport, Milan made enquiries to determine whether there was any possibility of convincing Pinto to move to San Siro.
However, the Portuguese executive reportedly rejected the idea and made it clear that he intends to remain at Bournemouth.
Pinto is said to be fully committed to the ambitious project he has helped build in England and has no plans to leave despite recent changes at the club, including the departure of manager Andoni Iraola.
For Milan, the search for a sporting director therefore continues, while Pinto’s future remains firmly tied to Bournemouth.
