Roma are accelerating efforts to secure the futures of several key players, with multiple contract extensions now approaching decisive stages, according to Corriere dello Sport.
Zeki Çelik and Gianluca Mancini are the closest to putting pen to paper.
For the Turkish full-back, the financial gap between the parties has been almost entirely bridged, while Mancini—one of the squad’s leaders—appears ready to extend his stay in the capital until 2030.
Discussions are also underway for Bryan Cristante, with a proposed extension running until 2029 on the table. Talks remain ongoing but are progressing in a positive direction.
More complex is the situation surrounding Lorenzo Pellegrini. The captain is determined to remain a central figure in Roma’s project, a vision shared by manager Gian Piero Gasperini, who considers him an essential presence both technically and in terms of leadership.
At Trigoria, negotiations continue in an effort to close remaining gaps and reach final agreements. While no official announcements have been made yet, optimism remains high across all discussions.
