Francesco Totti has looked back on Roma’s historic 2001 Scudetto triumph, recalling the emotions of June 17 in an interview with Corriere dello Sport.
“Twenty-five years ago, the best day of our lives. I remember every single moment: the wait, arriving at the stadium, the goal, the match. I’m sure you remember everything too,” said the former captain, reflecting on one of the most iconic nights in the club’s history.
Totti also addressed those who were not yet following Roma at the time, adding a message of hope for the future: “For those who weren’t there yet… you missed out! With the hope that we can soon experience a day like this again. Forza Roma.”
His words reignite memories of a defining moment for the Giallorossi and the city, as supporters continue to dream of a return to such glory.
