Angelino doesn’t want to leave Roma amidst Real Betis interest

According to Corriere dello Sport, AS Roma are facing an early summer transfer subplot involving Angeliño, with the left-back determined to resist external interest and fight for his place in the squad.

Despite strong signals from Spain, where Real Betis are reportedly pushing for a loan deal, Angeliño has made his stance clear: he intends to report to the Trigoria training camp and begin preseason with Roma, aiming to convince manager Gian Piero Gasperini of his value.

The Spanish club’s interest is concrete, but the proposed loan formula is not currently aligned with Roma’s preferences, who are instead considering a valuation in the region of €10 million for the player.

The situation now hinges on the player’s performances in training and Gasperini’s evaluation during the opening phase of preseason.

Roma are not actively pushing him out, but they are also open to evaluating serious offers if they arrive. For now, however, Angeliño’s intention is clear: stay, compete, and earn his place.
