Pre-season plans are taking shape for AS Roma, with the squad preparing for a structured summer schedule that will build fitness and match sharpness ahead of the new campaign.
According to Filippo Biafora the team will first gather at Trigoria for the start of pre-season training, before opening their friendly schedule on July 26 with a match against Cannes. This will be followed by departure to Wales on July 31, where Roma will continue their preparations through a series of three friendlies.
During their stay in the United Kingdom, Roma are expected to face Cardiff City in the opening game, followed by a match against a League Two side. The English tour will conclude with a higher-profile test against Brighton, providing a key evaluation point against Premier League opposition.
The final pre-season fixture is set for August 15 (Ferragosto), when Roma will travel away to face Borussia Dortmund. The match will serve as the last major test before the start of the Serie A season, offering a strong benchmark for the team’s readiness.
With a demanding schedule featuring opponents from France, Wales, and England, Roma’s pre-season tour is designed to gradually increase intensity and ensure optimal preparation for the competitive campaign ahead.
