Corriere dello Sport reports that Salah-Eddine is expected to return to AS Roma after his loan spell at PSV Eindhoven, barring any late surprises.
While a permanent move to PSV had been considered, the Dutch club reportedly failed to reach an agreement on the financial terms, despite being willing to offer around €8 million.
According to the report, PSV’s proposal collapsed due to issues with the player’s entourage over the final structure of the deal.
Despite the likely return to Roma, interest in the player is expected to remain strong, with several clubs potentially ready to go beyond the €8 million valuation to secure his signature.
