Robinio Vaz’s future at Roma remains up in the air just months after his arrival from Marseille. According to Il Tempo, the Giallorossi have not yet made a final decision on the 2007-born striker, who joined during the winter transfer window in a deal worth €22 million plus €3 million in bonuses.
Vaz found opportunities difficult to come by in the second half of the season, making 313 minutes of first-team appearances across all competitions. The French youngster scored once, against Lecce, and provided two assists, but never started a match as Donyell Malen’s outstanding form kept him out of the starting lineup.
Roma are now weighing their options. A loan move could be considered if the right club can offer Vaz regular first-team football and accelerate his development. However, keeping the talented forward at Trigoria to continue learning behind the senior strikers also remains a realistic possibility. Sporting director Tony D’Amico is expected to make a decision in the coming weeks as Roma continue shaping their squad for the new season.
