Roma Submit First Documents in Pietralata Stadium Approval Process

Roma have taken another important step toward the construction of their new stadium in Pietralata. According to Andrea De Angelis, the club has submitted the first additional documentation requested as part of the ongoing Conferenza dei Servizi, a key stage that allows the relevant public authorities to continue evaluating the project.

The documents outline the administrative progress already made by the Giallorossi. On May 18, 2026, Roma formally applied to the Extraordinary Commissioner for the single authorization required to proceed with the Pietralata stadium project. The application was submitted under the relevant Italian legislation governing major infrastructure developments.

A further milestone followed on June 15, 2026, when the Extraordinary Commissioner officially convened the decision-making Conferenza dei Servizi to assess and approve the project’s technical and economic feasibility. With the requested integrations now delivered, Roma have moved another step closer to securing the approvals needed to begin work on the club’s long-awaited new home
